YPN Atlantic Food Drive Pivot

Due to the current public health restrictions seen across our region and throughout Canada, YPN is pivoting its ongoing YPN Atlantic Food Drive in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia to accommodate these conditions.

With many food banks, such as Feed Nova Scotia and others, suspending pick-ups of food donations to the public and discouraging food drives as a result of COVID-19, the YPN committee will now be asking for local branch and corporate monetary donations instead.

This will supplement food donations received so far, and a total weight of all food donations will be recorded for all donations received at Food Depot Alimentaire and Feed Nova Scotia and promoted on EFC’s website and social media channels.
