Webinar Overview: The ESA presentation will be geared to give an update on the major changes in CE Code 2021, including changes in the general sections as well as supplementary sections of the CE Code such as New GFCI protection requirements for receptacles located outdoor, installations in farm buildings housing livestock, Energy storage systems installations and Electrical Vehicles installations.

About the Speaker: Ray Yousef – Electrical Safety Authority

Ray Yousef is a Professional Engineer, and he is currently leading the engineering team within the Electrical Safety Authority including, Utility engineers, Code engineers/specialists and Powerline safety technologist.

Ray has held multiple positions within the Regulatory Department since he joined the ESA. In these roles, Ray was involved in a number of different important duties including developing bulletins, Code committees and inspector training. Ray has been leading different projects and working with internal and external stakeholders. Prior to joining ESA, Ray gained a diverse spectrum of experience in the electrical industry as a consultant engineer for recognized firms in commercial, residential, industrial, oil & gas and nuclear sectors. Ray had held progressive positions prior joining ESA starting from a Junior Designer to Lead Electrical Engineer for major projects.
