EFC’s Business Sections Welcomes New Distribution Equipment Vice Chair

EFC is pleased to announce Kalpit Parikh, Eaton, as the new Vice Chair for the Distribution Equipment business section.

Kalpit is an engineering and product management professional with over 10 years of extensive experience in creating design solutions, project management, quotation, and cost analysis in the electrical industry.

Currently, as Senior Product Engineer of low voltage assemblies at Eaton, Kapit supports Pro-Launch product development, ensuring that commercial and market needs are comprehensively captured. Additionally, he provides quotation, technical, and BidManager support for paralleling switchgears, switchboards, panelboards and automatic transfer switches (ATS) for the sales teams. Kalpit is a certified member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT).

This business section represents manufacturers of electrical equipment that distribute electricity to industrial, commercial, and residential consumers. Electric power distribution carries electricity from the transmission system to end users.
