EFC’s 2023 Manufacturer Corporate Engagement Award Recipient is Leviton Canada

EFC’s 2023 Manufacturer Corporate Engagement Award was presented to Leviton Canada at the 2024 EFC Annual Industry Conference in Banff, AB. This award is presented to an EFC member company that demonstrates leadership in committee and event participation as well as supports EFC sponsorship programs.

Leviton is a global leader in electrical wiring devices, lighting energy management systems, networking solutions, security, and home automation and commercial data infrastructure products. It is Leviton’s second time receiving this award and the company currently has team members on a variety of different networks and committees including the Board of Directors, Young Professionals Network, Marketing Network and Regional Committees. They are also actively involved with the EFC Business Sections including Distribution Equipment, Electric Vehicle Chargers, Lighting, and Wiring Supplies.

We spoke with Jason Prevost, President & Chief Operation Officer, about why it was important for Leviton Canada to get involved with EFC. “I’ve always cherished the opportunity that EFC brings, giving people a voice and for me that resonated. I made a challenge to our employees to get active and involved and reach outside their customer or vendor network and allow them to participate in the industry” stated Prevost “It was really for self-development as well as for a better understanding of the industry.”
