EFC Welcomes New Atlantic YPN Chair
We are pleased to announce that Mitchel Deware has been appointed Chair of EFC’s Atlantic Region YPN Committee.
Mitch has been a Sales Representative with Munden Enterprises for the last three years. Based out of Moncton, NB, he is a graduate of Acadia University with a Bachelor of Community Development. Mitch also played for the Acadia Axemen football team for three years.
Recently, Mitch worked with the Munden team to develop and facilitate the Munden Tournament of Champions (MTC) – a gaming tournament initially intended to connect our team with customers during COVID lockdowns, now becoming an annual event. He is honoured to have been awarded the 2023 CEMRA EFC Corporate Engagement Excellence award with Munden for his work on the MTC.
“It’s been such a great experience getting to help create a larger community outside of work while providing participants with new product knowledge,” he says.
Mitch has a passion for the outdoors and enjoys ATVing, and keeping busy in his free time. Travelling across Atlantic Canada on his motorcycle has been a recent new endeavour of his, with his favourite trip thus far being Cape Breton. Mitch enjoys meeting new people and engaging in thoughtful conversations.
Over the years, Mitch had the opportunity to engage in event facilitation both during his time at Acadia University, as well as this previous year as the Vice-Chair of the YPN Atlantic Committee. Mitch looks forward to continuing to grow the YPN program as Regional Chair for 2024-2026.
We would also like to acknowledge Past Chair Cory Morris, Graybar Canada, for his work in promoting and encouraging the growth of YPN and for his efforts in broadening YPN’s footprint across the Atlantic region.
Congratulations Mitch and we look forward to your continued contributions and leadership to the Atlantic Region YPN Committee as Chair.
