HPS Equity & Diversity Scholarship

The HPS Equity & Diversity Scholarship, valued at $3,500, provides financial support to women and non-binary people, and equity-seeking groups including Aboriginal, Indigenous Peoples, Racialized, Black, and/or People of Colour, People with disabilities, 2SLGBTQIA+ and/or gender and sexually diverse individuals. We recognize the value and advantages of diverse ideas within our communities and aim to improve access to higher education for more inclusive, diverse, equitable presence of underrepresented groups within skilled trades and professional fields. This scholarship is ideal for students from diverse backgrounds in Canada who are passionate about their studies and future careers in a wide range of disciplines in STEAM or business-related programs. We wish to support the next generation of leaders and champions interested in manufacturing and/ or the electrical industry, but all individuals are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be enrolled at an accredited community college, four-year college/university, or graduate program in Canada, and identify as part of a historically excluded group (i.e. race, gender, sexual-orientation etc.).
