EFC Members Come Together to Mark 3rd Edition of Atlantic Region Curling Funspiel

It turns out the long wait was worth it.

EFC members and guests swept and hollered their way to a fun day among industry peers at the long-awaited return of the Atlantic Region Curling Funspiel on February 9, 2024 at the Windsor Curling Club. This was the third edition of the Atlantic event, the first one held since 2019.

A total of 16 teams played three, four-end games at the one-day tournament. The day was capped off by live music by local musicians Jordan Leblanc and Brooklyn Blackmore, before closing with an awards ceremony.

• 3rd place – Team Lohnes (Tim Lohnes, Leviton Canada; Kerri Lohnes; Natasha Langille, Rexel Atlantic; Daksh Talwar, Rexel Atlantic)
• 2nd place – Team Dakers (Tim Dakers, FOCUS Electrical Sales; Carson Rogers, Graybar Canada; Ben Reader, WESCO; Roy Pineo, WESCO)
• 1st place – Team Cormier (Larry Cormier, Eddy Group Limited; George Douglas,  Eddy Group Limited; Don Davis, Eddy Group Limited; Terry MacDonald, Eddy Group Limited)

Congratulations to Team Cormier who takes home the EFC Curling Bonspiel trophy for 2024!
