EFC Announces Two New Appointments
Rina Lal has joined the EFC team as a Statistical Associate on April 1st, 2019. She will be replacing Angela Latchman, who is retiring in early May, after a long and successful career at both EEMAC & EFC, serving just under 30 years. Rina is responsible for administering numerous product section statistical programs on a monthly/quarterly basis, while maintaining confidentiality of information. She will also be responsible for supporting the ongoing maintenance of EFC’s confidential statistical website and managing all stats-related procedures. Rina most recently held positions at Sears’ head office and at HomeSense. She will report directly to Anne Harrigan, EFC’s VP, Marketing Resource. Effective April 12th, 2019, Roxanne Lafond will lead EFC’s Quebec Region to support all activities and programs in the region. She replaces Susan Adler, who has decided to pursue another career opportunity. Roxanne will work closely with the regional executive team, other members, and EFC staff to plan and implement industry events and tradeshows. She will also coordinate regional meetings, support EFC’s overall marketing communications efforts and will work closely with Young Professionals Network members to continue the strong momentum of activities in the region. Roxanne has over 13 years of experience in event planning and marketing communications within all facets, including print, digital and social media platforms.
