EFC is a national association that serves Canadian electrical manufacturers, distributors and manufacturers’ reps/agents all across Canada. EFC works closely with its own regional committees in Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada and has formed partnerships with other electrical associations across Canada, to offer members with access to regional networking opportunities such as golf tournaments, breakfast sessions, luncheons and holiday receptions. Members in each region are also encouraged to participate in EFC’s national events, business sections and committees, and to leverage EFC’s full suite of professional development courses, research and statistical programs, and all other services.
EFC’s Quebec Region is a thriving community of members who meet regularly to network and learn about industry issues and trends that impact their region. This region organizes annual events such as a golf tournament each spring/summer, two Holiday receptions (Montreal and Quebec City), a Fall session and social event, as well as business program sessions throughout the year. This region also has a Young Professionals Network (YPN) group that meets regularly to engage young members (40 yrs. and under) in social, professional development and fund raising events.
The Quebec Region is also a key sponsor of the MCEE Show, a tradeshow that occurs once every other year, which brings together over 6,000 industry partners and representatives.
Student engagement is also an important goal for this region. Members have strongly support the region’s unique program, Tournée des Écoles, designed to provide students in trade schools and CEGEPs with insight on the many careers available in the Electrical industry.

EFC’s Atlantic Region encourages participation from members in the Atlantic Region as well as those all across the country. Experience this region’s eastern hospitality at one of the many events scheduled throughout the year, including the annual golf tournament each summer, a Lobsterfest event in June, and special member events throughout the year.
Like the other EFC regions, a Young Professionals Network (YPN) group is well-established in Atlantic Canada, providing young members (40 yrs. and under) an opportunity to network and learn in social and education settings.
The Atlantic Region is also a key sponsor of the MEET Show, a biennial show that has become the second largest industry event of its type in Canada, drawing together more than 6,000 attendees.
