OEN-Bruce Power Nuclear Studies Scholarship

The Ontario Energy Network (OEN) is a not-for-profit organization which provides networking opportunities to leaders and emerging leaders of the energy industry in Ontario, as well as supporting charitable initiatives and a scholarship program. Bruce Power is an all-Canadian partnership and Canada’s first private nuclear generator, providing 30% of Ontario’s electricity as well as medical isotopes for the world’s health care sector. In order to continue to thrive, the energy industry needs to recruit talented young people and a diverse workforce. The OEN-Bruce Power Nuclear Studies Scholarship will be granted to an Ontario undergraduate university or college student who has successfully completed at least one year of study in a science, engineering, technology, IT or business discipline, and who has demonstrated a commitment to community service. Our hope is that the candidate will explore career opportunities in the Ontario nuclear energy sector.
