EFC Habitat for Humanity Committee Thanks Members for Their Continued Generosity

Russ Morgan, IPEX and Chair of EFC’s Habitat Canada Committee, and the team, thanks members for collectively making a difference in helping Canadian families in need for affordable housing.  “We are extremely proud of our efforts in 2021 for raising $200,000 in cash for the EFC Day of Giving and over $600,000 in products donated as part of the Gifts in Kind for Home Builds, and the ReStores” says Russ Morgan, IPEX.

Now that the year is ending, we encourage you to consider the option of donating your excess or obsolete stock to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore Gift-in-Kind program. For your generous contribution of product, you will receive a charitable tax receipt (for the fair market value of your product).

Donating is simple.  Please contact Rumee Shrestha, National ReStore Manager at (647) 289-5064, or Nicole Dumanski, National ReStore Donation Coordinator at (437) 216-7294 to arrange to have your donation picked-up or dropped off.  Please mention Electro-Federation Canada, and notify John Jefkins of EFC, (jjefkins@electrofed.com) of your contribution.

Thanks to your efforts hundreds of families across Canada are experiencing their first holidays in their new homes.

Thank you again for the tremendous support and kindness provided in 2021.  As an industry, we can take pride in knowing that “we are making a difference” to Canadian families in need for affordable housing.
