Two Students Receive the Quebec Region’s Electro-Federation Canada Scholarship Award

At the annual Quebec region Golf Tournament, the Golf committee announced its the charity of choice for 2019 as the EFC Scholarship Program. Funds raised during the Golf Tournament (as well as the region’s Fall Activity and two Christmas Receptions) went towards the EFC Scholarship Program in 2020, where EFC Quebec Region offered two scholarships of $2500 to two students in the province of Quebec. These awards support the next generation of leaders and reward superior student performance.

EFC Quebec Region is privileged to present the scholarships to two well-deserving and hard-working students. Louis-Daniel Gaulin, the first recipient, is in his 4th year of the Electrical Engineering program at the University of Sherbrooke. The second winner, Camille Gauthier, is in her 3rd year at Polytechnique Montréal, and is also majoring in Electrical Engineering. EFC Quebec Region extends its congratulations to both recipients for all their hard work and for this great accomplishment and wishes them every success in their studies.

Since 1995, Electro-Federation Canada (EFC), along with members of the Canadian electrical industry, have ‘joined hands’ to support university and college students through the EFC Scholarship Program. The 2020 EFC Scholarship Program awarded a total of $140,000 to 56 deserving students from across the country.

Thank you to the EFC’s Quebec Region Executive committee and the Golf committee members for your support in this initiative. And a huge thank you to all members who participated in the fundraising events and activities which made the Quebec Region’s Electro-Federation Canada Scholarship Award possible.
