13th Annual Atlantic Region Charity Golf Tournament
The 13th Annual Atlantic Region Charity Golf Tournament proved unlucky, weather-wise! The skies opened up the 143 registered golfers as they prepared to tee off. The weather did clear so that most of holes were played. The die-hard golfers carried on in the rain and finished 18 holes. But there were no complaints, and everyone enjoyed the day and the networking opportunities.
The tournament took place on August 9 at Royal Oaks Golf Club in Moncton. The proceeds from this tournament went to the IWK Children’s Hospital. A cheque in the amount of $5,000 will be donated to that Foundation. Congratulations to everyone involved! Thank you to the many sponsors. The winner of the tournament was a team from Schneider Electric – Todd Steeves, Ryan Gavin, and Mathew McEachern. Contest winners – Closest to the Line, Shannon Fougere, Lumen; Putting, Mark MacDonald, Catalyst Sales & Marketing; Longest Drive, Steve McMullen, Liteline; and Closest to Hole, Paul Eldridge, Alumni (Bird-Stairs). See you all again next year on August 8! See the photo gallery for pictures here.
