B.C. Energy Efficiency Standards: Proposed Amendments & Consultation – EFC Response
BC Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources has proposed changes to existing regulation around General Service LED and Small Diameter Directional Lamps, which are favourable to the industry and harmonizes with the existing regulations in Ontario and Quebec– view document. In their proposal, they are exempting all LED lamps from testing, labeling and reporting requirements and efficiency standards for both A-line general service LED lamps and small diameter reflector LED lamps.
